This makes MXGD one of only a few select Mining Companies in the world a chance to own an asset that is in big demand & extremely profitable over the competition.
Company Overview

Midex Gold Corp. is positioned to take advantage of Tanzania's rich mineral resources by developing a select portfolio of near-term gold and diamond production projects. With the company's network of strategic relationships with senior mining professionals and government officials in Tanzania, it is poised to identify key mining concession targets that are ready to be developed.
The world-renown Williamson Diamond Mine is located directly next to Midex's Magembe Property.

Our Crown Jewel - the Magembe Property
The Magembe Property is part of a two-kilometre buffer zone created to surround the Williamson Mine (aka Mwadui) when it was developed in the 1940s and 50s. This buffer zone was formed to prohibit the mining of near-surface diamond deposits in the area immediately adjacent to the mining operation. The Williamson mine is owned 75 per cent by De Beers and 25 per cent by the government of Tanzania, and has a production history that spans six decades. The Williamson pipe covers 360 acres and was considered to be the largest economically exploitable pipe in the world. The mine is the original source of pink diamonds and has produced notable stones including a 54-carat flawless pink diamond and a 388-carat diamond found in 1990. South African-based Petra Diamonds is currently negotiating to purchase the mine.

Midex Gold Corp is committed to operating under strict legal and ethical standards of all jurisdictions it works within, as well as to improve working conditions and remuneration for its Tanzanian geologists and laborers

Tanzania
Tanzania, officially the United Republic of Tanzania (Jamhuri ya Muungano was Tanzania in Swahili), is a country on the east coast of Africa. It is bordered by Kenya and Uganda on the north, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the west, and Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique on the south. To the east it borders the Indian Ocean. The country is named after Tanganyika, its mainland part, and the Zanzibar islands off its east coast. Tanzania has been a member of the Commonwealth since gaining its independence in 1961. In 1964, Tanganyika united with Zanzibar, forming the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar, later renamed to the United Republic of Tanzania. In 1996, Tanzania's capital was officially moved from Dar es Salaam to Dodoma, although many government offices still remain in the old capital.

Geography
Tanzania is mountainous in the north-east, where Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, is situated. To the north and west are the Great Lakes of Lake Victoria (Africa's largest lake) and Lake Tanganyika. Central Tanzania comprises a large plateau, with plains and arable land. The eastern shore is hot and humid, with the island of Zanzibar lying just offshore.

Tanzania contains many large and ecologically significant wildlife parks, including the famous Serengeti National Park in the north.

Tanzania has vast amount of natural resources like gold deposits that remain underdeveloped.

Super mint quality Tanzanite is already extremely limited and continues to become more so with every passing day. Meanwhile, Tanzanite has become the second fastest selling colored gem stone in the world - with the current demand being extremely high. Indeed, As Tanzanite supplies continue to diminish, the higher its' price goes (this has already been happening for a number of years). However when the source is mined out within the next 5 to 10 years, the general consensus among gemologists and investors alike; is that it will be irreplaceable and as such the price will skyrocket for high quality pieces".

"Recently Tanzanite has grown in popularity to the number two spot just below the sapphire in America. This high demand coupled with the tight supply of Tanzanite (the gemstone is only found in Tanzania), means that the cost of this gem is consistently going up.
